R.I.P. Thomas Mikal Ford. Sept 5, 1964-Oct 12, 2016

Most of us remember him as Tommy Strawn from the hit 90's sitcom, "Martin." Tommy played side by side with Martin Lawrence as one of Martin's best friends and as Mel Parker in the tv show, "The Parkers". He also appeared on "New York Undercover" and "The Jamie Foxx Show." Tommy wrote children's books to help teach kids about being drug free and that violence was not the answer.

After an aneurysm ruptured in his abdomen on this past Sunday, Tommy was placed on life support. Today he lost that fight, but he will not be remembered by his pain and suffering but by his good spirits and great accomplishments. He was a role model for children all over and a public speaker for his community. Tommy knew how to light up a room and he will be truly missed. Make his soul rest in heaven.
