Mary J.'s Husband Demanding $129,319/month

Now if you haven't heard already, Mary J. Blige is going through this messy divorce with her soon to be ex husband Martin (Kendu) Isaacs. The two were married for 12 years and Kendu used to manage Mary J. After she fired him he says he has no income and that he deserves $129,319 a month during the time it takes for their divorce to be settled. He says this because Mary got him used to this lavish lifestyle. Kendu also mentioned that Mary J. is dropping a new album soon and in the past 2 years she has earned up to $5.1 million. I guess Kendu has been doing his homework. Sounds to me like he is pretty sure that he can get a peace of the spousal support pie.

Mary J. Blige claims that there is a prenup that was signed back in December of 2003 just two days before their marriage. This prenup apparently included everything that was owed to Kendu. Kendu, however, states that the prenup was bogus and not signed with a lawyer. Apparently Kendu is using the fact that Mary J. has already cut him a check totaling 85k to back up the bogus prenup mention. Moral of the story, ladies know who you are marrying before you marry them. I'll sip to that!
