Happiness is the key to life. Does money make you happy? Does being loved by someone else make you happy? For a little while it may, but in the long run it only leads to more problems. These simple steps will allow you to live a longer, healthier life.
1. Be true to who you are. Don't let anyone make you believe that being yourself is not enough. Love yourself a little more everyday.
2. Set goals and accomplish them. Accomplishing your goals in the end will boost your self esteem and fill you with happiness.
3. Laugh more. Laughing is fulfilling and it also makes those people around you happy.
4. Travel somewhere you have never been before. A different scenery can give you bursts of energy and excitement that you never knew you had.
5. Exercise more often. Exercising boosts your level of energy and can prevent depression. It also promotes good health and is great for the brain.
6. Stop blaming yourself for other people's problems. Take responsibility for your actions and your actions only.
7. Do something that makes you happy. Get your hair done or pamper yourself for a day. When you work hard you should be able to enjoy yourself a little. This can help you control your stress level and relax.
8. Help someone else. Helping others makes you happy and allows you to appreciate the things that you do have in life.
9. Don't hold grudges. Holding a grudge does more harm for you than the person you are upset with. Don't allow someone that much power over you.
10. Stop making excuses. Own up to your mistakes and never make the same mistake twice. Excuses only lead to more excuses, leaving you stagnant and content.
11. Learn how to manage your money. Some say money makes the world go around. Well if you are not in control of your money it only creates stress. Never allow money to control you. If you don't need to spend it, don't.
12. Forgive. Let go of your past because it will only haunt your future. Forgive those that have done you wrong and learn from it. You will be able to move on and live a happier lifestyle.
13. Learn how to control your level of stress. Whether it be painting, baking, or yoga, managing your stress level makes you feel better and happier longer.
14. Love yourself. If you don't love who you are how can anyone else? Respect yourself first and the respect from others will follow.
15. Stop thinking negative. Speaking negative thoughts into the atmosphere only creates negative outcomes and can lead to chronic depression. Speak positive thoughts into your life to create a life you desire.
